This year’s sponsorship continuation included a 10′ x 12′ performance banner which will be displayed at select Aly’an concerts throughout the nation during the upcoming spring and summer tour. Aly’an prepares to extend their Spring/Summer tour this year into new states, venues and communities! The 2012 tour schedule is developing and includes stops in KY, TN, IN, OH and FL. The girls will be playing an array of festivals, fairs and clubs so keep checking back for more information. Aly’an Supports Collin’s Classic for Children with Cancer

The girls of Aly’an will be making an appearance at Southside Elementary School in Versailles, KY on Friday, October 8th in support of the “Coins for Collin” campaign. During the month of October, the elementary school will be collecting coins in classroom boxes to help raise money to send a child with cancer to summer camp through the non-profit organization, Collin’s Classic for Children with Cancer. Aly’an has been a strong supporter of Collin’s Classic for the past couple of years and have participated in fundraising concerts for the organization. 2011 Buffalo Trace Bourbon National Radio Tour a Success

The 2011 Buffalo Trace Bourbon National Radio Tour has come to a close and was deemed a success by staff at Rising River Music. The girls of Aly’an had the pleasure of visiting over 12 different states including Arkansas, Virginia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Missouri and many others throughout the summer months. During their visits, Alyson and Andrea performed tracks live from their debut album along with discussing how they first became invovled in the music industry and upcoming performances. Pictures, live video clips and details of what stations the girls dropped by can be found on their Facebook Fan page. Cities around the country are still adding the latest Aly’an single, “Going Home”, and requests to hear the song can be called in to your local AM or FM radio station!

Nashville.com Reviews Hard Rock Cafe Performance

Following their June 30th, 2011 performance with country music trio Due West, the girls of Aly’an received an astonishing review on their acoustic appearance at the Nashville Hard Rock Cafe. Tessa Prince of Nashville.com wrote of their, “blended unique two part harmonies” and raved that, “their original songs were just as good as any cover they could have done”. The "firsts" of hopefully many…

Hey everybody!

Welcome to the new “Aly’an” site and the very first “blog” post! I am not the most experienced person in this sort of thing…but I am learning! We will both be blogging as we endeavor more and more into this crazy music business so yall keep checking back. (This is where the real road stories and behind the scenes will come out!) Alyson and I are extremely excited for this upcoming year and our new music!! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you can go to the Music and Video page to sample some of our tracks.

We had our first radio interviews on Friday in our home state of Kentucky at 99.9 WVLC The Big Dawg in Campbellsville, 92.7 WHVE The Wave in Russell Springs, and 93.5 WAIN in Columbia whom all made time for us to stop by and play some of our new songs! I visited the stations in person while Alyson called in from Jackson, Mississippi (she was playing in a conference basketball tourney) AND we got to hear our music over the radio waves for the very first time! It was extremely cool and a GREAT experience to hear our music played. Hopefully, this whole radio station thing will become an every day activity in the future!

AND we also had our first advanced album purchase today!! YAY! Ms. Carol Schmitz of Montgomery, TX will receive the first sold copy of our new album. Thanks Carol for your support!!

That’s all I have for now…but we will keep posting and hopefully get better at this whole “blogging” concept in the future.

Aly’an has released their first single from their new self-titled album to over 1,600 radio stations nationwide. “Going Home” was released on April 25th, 2011 and will be the first single from the debut album to be promoted throughout the states. CD Release Party A Success

The CD Release Party held on April 26th, 2011 at Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse in Harrodsburg, KY drew a packed house for the local duet, Aly’an . The concert featured performances of new music from their self-titled album along with influencial classic rock and country cover songs. The event was open to the public and attracted all ages. Check out pictures from the event in the photo gallery. Footage from the event was featured in their new promotional video and can be viewed on the Aly’an Youtube Channel.
